Voyagers

The Voyagers club was founded in November 2007 by Graham & Loretta Coles and Paul & Steve Lear after trying various clubs and not finding what we wanted in them.We wanted a club who's main aim is to ride their bikes when ever posible on runs over day trip distances from Bristol U.K.We attend bikeshows the odd motorcycle racing events and the odd bike bashes but always our main aim was to ride our bikes and put milage on them.We put on camping trips in the summer and occassionally we will stay in B&B to extend our riding range and destinations.We are an open club and dont discriminate over type of bike as long as it is 125cc or more due to the nature of our runs which are usually 100 miles or more and can involvemotorway use. We had had learners in the club but they are restricted to non motorway or non Welsh runs involving motorway use.We dont interfere with other clubs and we support their bashes and shows when we can.The club was ran by a commitee and had a president and various officers but as from last years AGM in December it was decided to run the club as a non managed clubwith no club fee's or management but we did keep a ghost commitee in the back ground to see how things this year run.We run a simple system of taking guest riders along with us on runs and if they are intersted in joining the club we ask them to attend a few more runs so we get to knoweach other then we put their request for membership to the other riders who will then invite them into the club if all is well.We meet at the Midland spinner pub at Warmley which is East of Bristol and a quarter of a mile from the ring road on the A420 every Thursday night from 8-00pm on.We welcome any biker to pop in for a chat on a Thursday or if you fancy joining us on a run get in contact with us.
